Email, Menu, Buttons | PC Browsers | Mac Browsers | JavaScript | Home
If your browser is older than Netscape 6, Internet Explorer 5, or Opera 7, or you have JavaScript turned off, you will have problems viewing this and other state-of-the-art websites since new websites use techniques not supported by the earlier browsers.
This site uses JavaScript for visual effects, navigation within our site, email contacts.
If you disable JavaScript in your browser, or you are using a browser without support for JavaScript, the appearance of all content should be normal, but you will not have access to the very helpful dropdown menu for navigating our site, nor will you be able to use "Go Back" buttons, that return you to your last page, some helpful dialog windows, or our email contacts. We are using scripts to hide them (preventing spam) from web robots. No Java Classes or ActiveX Controls will be downloaded to or executed from your computer. In addition, no cookies will be set, no 'web bug' images are present. We absolutely guarantee that nothing hostile is present.
The "JavaScript danger" is really a browser issue. The fear of this widely used internet programming language results mostly from the discovery of security holes in browsers and e-mail clients, especially Microsoft Internet Explorer and Outlook. Rather than disable JavaScript, it is important to have the latest browser and keep it updated.
JavaScript is there to simply enhance the appearance and performance of the sites you visit. By disabling JavaScript you will miss the entire web experience as it is designed to be seen, and you will lose all interactivity from mouseover effects to form input and everything in between.

This website has been checked in the following PC browsers. I do not have a Mac, so would appreciate comments from Mac users. You will need JavaScript on to contact me by email. Thanks,

Under File, Print Options - you may want to uncheck "Print

not centered. Update to Opera 8

Updating a browser is easy, and you can switch to a different browser if you prefer.
The four most common PC browsers, and their download sites are:
Foxfire http://www.mozilla.org/
Opera http://www.opera.com/
Netscape http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/download.jsp
Internet Explorer http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx
(Also, here's the address for
AOL if that's what you use:
AOL http://free.aol.com/tryaolfree/cdt.adp?139331 )
If you have an older (and therefore, slower) computer, you might be better going with Foxfire. But it is your choice. All four browsers are free (Opera has some unobtrusive ads which are removed in the paid version).
And you can have more than one browser on your computer (I have all four!)
I'm on a bit of thin ice here, since I am not a Mac user, but here are some references to browsers for the Mac:
For a listing of all the browsers for the Mac, and comments about them, go here
Apparently, Microsoft IE Version 5 has some problems; to get IE Version 5.1.7 or 5.2.3, visit here.
You can apparently also use Netscape, Opera or others. I don't know how they will work. Let me know!
Again, some of the older browsers
do not support JavaScript, or you may have disabled
JavaScript. Disabling JavaScript is sometimes done
to eliminate those annoying popup ads. (The Google
and Yahoo toolbars will block popups.)
This site uses JavaScript for the navbar menu, to
hide email addresses from spammers and to go to some
outside links. You will not be able to access parts
of this site or send email without JavaScript!
To enable JavaScript, find your browser below, and follow the steps:
Internet Explorer 3.X (You
really must update!)
Netscape 3.X (You really must update!)
AOL 3.0 (You really mustupdate!)
When using the use AOL browser, you may get a JavaScript error but, when using an external browser (i.e., Netscape or Internet Explorer) this does not occur. (You should update anyhow! ) Mozilla 1.X
Opera 5.X (You really should update!)
FireFox 0.9.2
